•What is the custom design process like?
Each consultation is different! We can start with a design idea, or we can start from scratch. Many people start with a photo reference that we can use as an inspiration. If you don't have any photo references, that's okay. We have a large selection of prototypes in the store for you to view. We're here to help design the perfect piece!
•What should I bring to my consultation?
If you have any pre-existing jewelry you would like to use in the new piece, please bring them to your consultation. We do have a setting fee for any large stones brought in by customers.
•What is your turn around time for custom pieces?
Depending on how intricate the design is, we are currently at a 4-6 week turnaround from the moment of design approval. During our peak custom order season (August - December) this can increase to 7 weeks. Our caster does have a selection of pre-made settings that can cut down the timeline.
•Is there a consultation fee?
There is no consultation fee. In most cases we do send you a 3D render of the design(s) we have agreed upon during your consultation. We offer 2 complimentary renders and any small changes at no cost. If we have to make a new 3rd+ design, or if the changes you request require more work, we do charge $45 per new render.
•How long is my quote good for?
Our quotes are good for 1 week. After 1 week, we will have to requote you based on the current metal market.
•What information should I have before setting up my consultation?
No information is needed, but it is a good idea to consider:
- Ring Size or Necklace Length
- Budget (specific or broad)
- Metal Color Preference (Yellow, White, Or Rose)
- Stone Preference (Gemstone, Mined or Lab Grown Diamonds, Moissanite, ect.)
